A week in the life of a Realtor

realtor week

When people learn I am a Realtor they frequently ask about the market, and if I am busy. As I submitted an offer today, it made me think about what has been going on in my real estate life the last couple weeks. There are always some joys and disappointments… the photos above exemplify just a few of them…

  • A couple closed on their new home in NE Minneapolis, as they put their historic Uptown condo on the market for sale
  • A family closed on the sale of their new home in the northern suburbs, then put their South Minneapolis home on the market… with an open house resulting in multiple offers
  • A couple who has been looking for a mid-century-modern for months found a stunning property and made an offer, only to lose out in a sea of 12 multiple offers… we continue to look
  • A couple who has been looking for a mid-century-modern for more than a year finally found a home in University Grove and had their offer accepted… but buying in the Grove is more complicated so they are not done yet… they are hoping it will be theirs this year
  • A couple made an offer today on lake property in the west metro… waiting to hear back from the sellers, anticipating ensuing negotiation
  • I received a Lifetime Achievement Award from RE/MAX
