Bathroom Vanity Tops

I'm working with Clients that are putting their house on the market soon.  They asked me to look at the house and give them my opinion on what needs to be done to the home.

Normally, I would tell them to paint the rooms a neutral color…..but the living/dining rooms are painted in a beautiful blue/green color….and I love it.  There are some other rooms that are unique colors and I told them to leave those walls alone too.

What I didn't love are the bathroom vanity tops.  They are marble from the 70"s/80's that have an integrated bowl that looks like a shell:

It's a very dated look in a house that is immaculate and move in ready.  So, I told them that they should replace the vanity tops with something updated.  There are many options when selecting a new top.  Laminate, Corian, Cambria, Granite to name a few…..but I am suggesting a new cultured marble top.  Current cultured marble is a lower cost product with a higher end look.  A lot of the newer cultured marble tops look like granite.

This is a great reasonable option for a bathroom and I hope they decide to go this direction.  If they do, I'll post before and after pictures!
