We discovered Malcolm Market a few weeks ago when we searched for handmade ice cream and were excited to discover that Bebe Zito had a shop there for burgers and ice cream! Bebe Zito made its debut in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic… so happy to see they are not only surviving but expanding! Food & Wine honored Bebe Zito on their list of the best ice cream in every state… not bad, considering how many outstanding ice cream shops there are just in the Twin Cities!
When we walked into Malcom Market we were amazed at all that we found. In their own words…
We’re more than just a food hall, we’re a community that supports food and drink innovation. An incubator to empower experienced and upcoming chefs and a space to house the diverse flavors and experiences of our city.
You check in when you arrive and are given one card that links to your credit card so you have one form of payment wherever you go… from the POUR drink wall to 9 culinary concepts including Asian, Japanese, Argentinian, Indian, pizza, Italian meatballs and more.
The Market at Malcolm Yards is housed in the historic Harris Machinery Building, across from the iconic United Crushers grain silos located in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. They are across the street from Surly Brewing Co. and O’Shaughnessy Distilling Co… the first development to open in the expanding Malcolm Yards District. It is close to the University Sports Dome, light rail, not far from the Prospect Park ‘witches hat’ water tower and the new Pillars of Prospect Park senior center.
