Bebe Zito… creative new small batch ice cream born out of passion and gluttony

We are homemade ice cream lovers, and were excited that Bebe Zito made its debut in the Minneapolis Wedge this summer in spite of all the 2020 setbacks that pushed opening from March to July. Co-owned by couple Gabriella Grant and Ben Spangler, they are pursuing their passion and gluttony for ice cream. Ben was responsible for many of the innovative flavors at Milkjam, and is now busy creating more unique flavors not usually found in a cone.

We stopped for our first visit this weekend, and while the dizzying flavor varieties could have made it difficult to choose, it was obvious which flavors were the ones for us to try on our first visit.

John chose Peanut Butter Puppy Chow (peanut butter shake base with chocolate covered puppy chow)… and Manda Chuva (“The Bringer of Rain” – gooey brownies, dots pretzels covered in dark chocolate, and salted caramel) was the one for me. They did not disappoint!!!

There were plenty more intriguing flavors to entice us to come back and with continually changing flavors there will be even more reason to keep coming back again and again! Oh… and did I say the deliciousness alone was enough to keep us coming back and back and back and back…?!
