There is a grave shortage of homes for sale in the Twin Cities, including mid-century-moderns. This past week we hit the mother-lode when two of my buyers were awarded the winning bids in multiple offers on mid-century-modern homes designed by renowned architects and sold by longtime owners.
One was built in 1957 in Golden Valley, designed by Paul Enghauser at 2305 Winfield Avenue. These buyers were thrilled to find this home in largely its original state… they plan to keep the uniqueness of its original design.
The other is even more unique, designed in 1970 by David Salmela for his sister in Roseville at 2191 Fulham Street. It was the first house he designed, and these buyers are thrilled that he is still available for consultation for update ideas!
Are you looking for a mid-century-modern of your own? We would love to help!
By the way, I had another client secure the winning bid in multiple offers this weekend as well… not a mid-century modern but a great home for these first-time homebuyers!
Buying a home? We would love to help you, too… regardless of style!
