Weekly real estate market update 6/7/24… new listings highest in two years

New listings jumped up again this week after the Memorial Day holiday… not this high since June and July 2022. Price changes and pending sales are also up… multiple offers are steady.

Showings are still hanging persistently below last year, but that isn’t stopping sales… just not as many showings before accepting an offer.

But buyers are pickier than ever. I had another agent call me about showing feedback that wasn’t as positive as expected. You can’t just expect to put a home on the market and expect multiple offers… staging is more critical than ever.
