When I first saw this post on one of our blogs, it reminded me of one of the questions I ask in a first time homebuyer class. When I start the class, I like to ask why people want to buy a home. There are always a few similar reasons, it could be as simple as a way to stabilize home costs. Other reasons are things like being able to paint the walls, have a garden, make the home your own. Some like the idea of saving money, gaining equity and not making your landlord get the benefits of ownership. This post shows some of the reasons to think about buying a home.
