Buyers aren’t letting winter or Covid keep them from viewing homes… showings are on an upward trajectory. We have the advantage of a mild winter so far, encouraging news that the coronavirus is slowing down for now in Minnesota, and the vaccine provides hope on the horizon. Showings were strong last year at this time, too, before we knew of Covid-19… surging ahead of 2019 for February and the first part of March. Let’s see what 2021 brings.
New listings aggressively jumped up after the holidays then tempered a couple weeks later, as they usually do. Pending sales always lag as they get through offers and inspections, now almost caught up to new listings. Coming soon listings are rising, which should feed new listings in the coming weeks. The end of January shows 2021 is off to a robust start. I have been saying it feels more like March/April than January!
If you are wondering if now is a good time to sell, the nationwide data below says yes!
