When we stopped at the Hen House Eatery in downtown Minneapolis for brunch last Sunday the rhubarb sweet rolls caught my eye as we were waiting for a table. I went in craving breakfast eggs so ordered that, but asked for a rhubarb cinnamon roll to go. I was so disappointed when our server came back to say they were all gone that I had to stop again this Sunday… this time earlier, before they were all gone. They did not disappoint!!
It amazed me how many different varieties of cinnamon sweet rolls they have… now I know why they are famous not only for breakfast all day, but also for their sweet rolls… soft, gooey and delicious!
This popular downtown eatery less than a couple blocks east of Nicollet Mall always seems to be busy… for good reason. Serving farm inspired goodness, they have a simple philosophy…
We believe in roots, goodness, family, love, hard work, fun, honesty, all day breakfast and urban farm girls.
