Happiness is determined by many things, but studies have found that good economic, emotional, physical and social health are all key to a person’s overall well-being and satisfaction.
WalletHub examined all 50 states across 28 key metrics, ranging from depression rate to sports participation rate to income growth… and Minnesota came out on top for 2017!
I find it interesting that Minnesota was the only state that ranked high in all three primary indicators: (1) Emotional & Physical Well-Being, (2) Work Environment, and (3) Community & Environment.
That means we don’t have to put up with big challenges in some areas to appreciate one area of strong benefit… it leads to better balanced and happier lives.
Maybe that is why Minnesota is also ranked the least stressed state in the nation!
