If you are getting ready to sell, you are likely thinking about doing a fresh paint job. Neutral colors are good, but don't confuse that with basic off-white… adding some color can add warmth and depth but still be neutral.
See the difference between off-white on the left and neutral color on the right.
Selecting a neutral color can be harder than you think. A good, basic go-to color that is a nice blend between tan and grey is 'Balanced Beige' from Sherwin Williams, shown in all these photos.
Part of our listing service is a staging consult with Rooms with Style, paid by us. There might be another color she will recommend but if you are busy painting before the consult, you won't go wrong with Balanced Beige. She can also stage your empty home as she did in the photo above… by the way, this home had 13 offers!!
Don't think that everything has to be beige or gray… there are some wonderful, fresh colors out there. But re-think painting your whole house off-white. Adding some color can make a huge difference in how welcoming a room feels.
Happy painting!
