Should you buy an existing home or a new one? Each has its benefits

If you are torn on whether you should focus on buying new construction or an existing home, here are some differences that could help you in your decision making.

Benefits Of New Vs Existing

Both options have their benefits… it all depends on what is most important to you. There is typically less competition with new construction and builders typically have financing incentives such as mortgage rate buy-downs and help with closing costs when you use their preferred lender… but new construction also has hidden costs such as window coverings and doesn’t have mature landscaping.

If you are considering both, I recommend visiting both kinds of properties… usually one type resonates better than the other, and we can help you both with existing homes and new construction.
