Weekly real estate market update 6/28/24… housing market forecast for the rest of 2024

As we slide into holiday mode coming soon listings continue their downward slide.

Stats are following the same trajectory as last year, the beginning of the downward slide for the rest of the year.

Nothing surprising in showing activity… showings continue to hang below last year, but since pending sales are about the same it is an indication that homes are selling with fewer showings than last year.

Wondering what will happen the rest of the year? It is impossible to have a crystal ball, but predictions from multiple experts nationwide predict that home prices will climb moderately and mortgage rates will come down slightly… details in the infographic below from our blog at Keeping Matters Current.
