EasyGreen is our newest eco-friendly mortgage product. This program allows borrowers to finance energy star appliances or consolidate energy related debt into their loan. This mortgage rewards borrowers for being environmentally conscious by providing an LLPA waiver (loan level price adjustment), giving them a cheaper interest rate.
Borrowers can finance EnergyStar appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, water heaters and more. Or you can consolidate pre-existing energy related debt in a rate/term refinance.
This mortgage is available on conventional loans, 30 year fixed rates only. Your income must be at or under 100% of the area median income, in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area that is currently $124,300. This is for a primary residence only and must be a purchase or rate/term refinance. If you are a first time homebuyer, you can put as little as 3% down, if you have owned a home in the last three years, you need to put at least 5% down.
This could be a perfect loan for someone buying a home with older appliances or maybe someone that is working on fixing up a home and wants to replace appliances.
