After digging through many google pages I stumbled across the brief but insightful article on your website. My wife and I are looking to buy a mid mod home, most preferably architect designed. We do now realize we’re playing the long game in our search. Solely based off your post, we are sure that we’d like to work with you.
They were right… we did enjoy working together! I set up an auto search for them and added them to my weekly HomesMSP Update that includes a link to a curated list of recent mid-century/modern listings each week. Meanwhile, they continued their own searching and we visited some properties, including a visit to a home of one of my clients whose home was a perfect fit for them… only they wouldn’t be ready to sell until they found something to buy.
They were getting tired of being patient when I got a message from them about 6 weeks ago that a fabulous new listing just came on the market at 4:14 pm. We scheduled a showing for 6:00 pm… the first ones to see the property.
It only took as long as opening the door for them to fall in love with this home designed by architect James W. O’Brien. The next day they felt the same way and we submitted an offer. Of course it had multiple offers… but my clients were the lucky ones. They got to move in last week and made the comment that it’s so fun to move into a place they already love!
Bottom line is… finding the right home, especially a mid-century modern, can take time and patience. If you are ready for that adventure, whatever you are looking for, I am ready to walk with you!
