Spring real estate season is off to a strong start… competitive showing season is here

We are finally starting to see a strong influx of new listings… spring showing season is building. The couple in the photo above has been searching for homes to buy since the end of last year… this week they finally found multiple homes coming on the market that they want to see.

They aren’t the only ones looking… looking at showing activity going back to 2020, this year (2024) is higher than every year except 2021. The good listings still sell fairly quickly… don’t be surprised to find yourself in a multiple offer situation when new listings come on the market.

This means that when you find a home that is a serious contender you should schedule a showing as soon as you can… it could be gone in a matter of days!
