Weekly real estate market update 2/9/24… more listings make it easier to buy

Last week coming soon listings took a dramatic jump… this week they settled down (still higher than they had been) while new listings rose. Expect new listings to continue to rise as we get past the Super Bowl and into spring market.

New listings have been higher than last year so far, still following the same trajectory. It’s almost eery how closely coming soon listings are following last year’s numbers at this time.

Showing stats look a little odd this week… not sure if it’s a glitch or if it is in anticipation of the Super Bowl or ??? After having a good weekend ahead of last year, showings took a nosedive mid-week. It will be interesting to see what comes next.
