Weekly real estate update 12/1/23… buyers are still looking

Showings fell over Thanksgiving, as they should… but they are still higher than the last two years. Sales aren’t down because buyers aren’t looking… they are down because inventory is so low.

Activity looks pretty lackluster, but it is on track with what is typical for the holiday season at this time of year.

Wondering if you should put your home on the market at this time of year? I won’t lie to you… it isn’t the best time of year to generate the most interest. BUT… people who are looking at this time of year are usually serious buyers. Never forget it takes only one person to buy.
