Weekly real estate market update 12/8/23 – more showing activity than the last two years

Showing activity continues to be strong for this time of year… notably higher than the last two years. New listings and price changes continue to be in lock step, multiple offers and listings back on the market increased a bit… but coming soon listings continued to drop as holiday festivities took precedence over selling houses.

Overall, market stats are following a traditional path for this time of year.

The higher than average showing activity reflects that buyers are still looking, waiting for the “right house” to come on the market. Just getting started? The infographic below from our blog at Keeping Current Matters gives a good overview of the steps in the process.
