Hope Breakfast Bar opened in 2019 with the mission “to bring people together for the most important meal of the day, to make our community a better place and to give back to our neighbors in need.” When Covid shut everything down in 2020 Brian and Sarah Ingram turned their restaurant into a community kitchen and formed a non-Profit, GIVE HOPE.
WE BELIEVE EVERYTHING GOOD STARTS WITH A MEAL. GIVE HOPE IS A NONPROFIT FOCUSED ON HELPING OTHER PEOPLE EVERYDAY — BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVE THOSE IN NEED.

Now they not only give back 3% of all their sales to neighbors in need, they also serve delicious breakfasts every day until 3:00 pm. Their first restaurant was on 7th Street in Saint Paul, but their locations continue to grow, and also includes other Purpose Restaurants.
We stopped at their location in the West End in St. Louis Park on Sunday. They are known for their pillow pancakes, but their menu includes much more, including mimosas. My pork carnitas bowl was a surprise… like soup, but delicious!
