This week is the best time to buy a house this year

According to Realtor.com, nationally the best time to buy a house is the first week in October… that’s now!

Based on historical trends, Realtor.com says buyers may save over $15,000 this week compared to the summer peak.

Buying after this optimum week may result in more savings, but now there are more fresh options. New listings typically will decline from now through the end of the year.

The market has slowed down and homes are also often spending more time on the market… which means buyers have more time to think and consider their options before making an offer.

I can feel a surge in the air… lots of building interest for a new listing of mine, my buyers looking at properties, eager to buy… today also feels like the last day of summer!
