Keys on Raymond… the original restaurant, founded in 1973

If you were to ask our daughter to name their favorite breakfast restaurant, she would say ‘Keys’ without a second thought. We are blessed with many outstanding scratch restaurants in the Twin Cities, but Keys was one of the first. Nothing fancy, just memorable service and absolutely the best food since 1973. It has been serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts created from scratch recipes “you grew up with”.

It started as unassuming Keys Cafe at 767 Raymond Ave in Saint Paul… and has grown to 9 locations, awarded both locally and nationally for their fine food. But when I think of Keys, I still think of the original cafe in its original location.

We stopped for breakfast at Keys on Raymond over the weekend, and it still has its old world charm and the feel of a family restaurant… I love the charm of the small, original restaurant the best.
