Barbette… casual French bistro

Does spring have you longing for Parisian fare? It may not be quite nice enough for sidewalk dining yet, but Barbette has stood the test of time and has won the popular vote for Best French Restaurant by Mpls St. Paul Magazine. It feels like a cozy French brasserie any time of the year.

When we stopped for brunch a few weeks ago (they serve brunch every day, 8 am – 4 pm), the French toast was wonderful. Pommes frites were… well, amazing French fries… and how about a whole bucket of mussels?!

Spring will be here soon… in the meantime, you can stop for a Paris fix in Uptown Minneapolis at 1600 W Lake St, Mpls, MN 55408.
