Made Me Smile – things spied when out showing houses

I first did a ‘Made Me Smile’ post about 2 years ago. Here are a few things I have encountered lately when out and about showing homes that made me smile… I have a lot of catching up to do!


I thought this clever way to store kindling for your fire pit ingenious… it simply uses cement blocks with boards on each end to form a cradle for lots of kindling sticks.

Why should the refrigerator be the only place to hang things with magnets? Why not create a magnetic board on the inside of a kitchen cupboard door?

When I saw this hole in the floor of a closet it took me by surprise, glad I didn’t fall in!

It was a shortcut to a room on the lower level!

We were greeted by this big piece of furniture when we entered a house. I think it was an elegant dog kennel?

This is the most uniquely beautiful ceramic tile transition I have seen!
