Did you ever think that? Well I am here to say that is so not true! Every house can benefit from Home Staging and I personally have worked on homes as low as $80,000 including a brand new garage (that is not a high end home in the Minneapolis metro).
I know as stagers we tend to show the newest and brightest homes on your social media and websites but I understand that can be intimidating for some homeowners, thinking your home cannot compare to that. Or that a home stager wouldn’t want to even assist with a lesser value home or an older home.
Personally I enjoy working on the smaller homes that need some TLC, they can benefit so much from home staging. It doesn’t even need to be massive work involved to see great benefits. A simple re-arranging of furniture, an updated light fixture or additional lamps, a fresh coat of on trend paint and a few added throw pillows.
As a home stager my suggestions will be on target for your price of home and who your potential buyer is. Don’t think you have to remove everything you have and bring in all new, that is not the case.
So trust me…..your house is definitely nice enough to stage!
