Lakefront homes for sale within 25 miles of downtown Minneapolis

lake house

After interminable days at home and a cold fishing opener are you ready for year-round lakefront living? Although Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, in actuality we have nearly 12,000 lakes! There are many lakes within the Twin Cities area, so if you dream of living on the lake all the time, not just on the weekends, it would be hard to find a place with more options.

With working from home the new reality for many, 25 miles may not seem as unreasonable as it once did… especially if you can continue to work from home much of the time.

In spite of a shortage of homes for sale there are currently over 185 lakefront homes for sale within 25 miles of downtown Minneapolis. They range in price from $92,000 for a condo in Oakdale to an estate in Deephaven for $13,595,000! About 40% are under $1M, about 60% are over $1M.
