What you can do to get ready to sell while staying at home

updating

Last Friday, in the morning of the day the #stayathome order was going into effect at midnight, I got a text from a client saying, “Please laugh loudly as I ask your advice on painting our living room. I guess painting is the big indoor sport these days!” I thought it was a great project, but I am not a color expert… I leave that to my longtime stager/designer, Shar Sitter of Rooms with Style. I talked to her and passed on her recommendation… hopefully they will be enjoying a freshly painted living room when the #stayathome and social distancing orders are done!

Whether you are getting ready to sell or just want to refresh your home for yourself, it’s a great way to spend your time staying at home. I have heard from other clients who are diligently decluttering… the first and often hardest step of preparing your home for sale.

Thinking about selling but not sure where to start or what you should do to get ready? When you list with us our services include a private consultation with Shar and me, going through your house room by room to create a detailed plan. With current restrictions due to COVID-19 that is not possible at this time, but thanks to technology Shar is doing virtual staging consultations via video streaming or taking pictures… going through your house with you and giving specific recommendations for each room in your home.

See her blog post below, Prepare Your Home for Sale and Stay Safe During Covid-19, for details.
