updates!

Supreme Lending Horizontal (002)

AMEC Home Loans is selling the company to Everett Financial dba Supreme Lending! So I am now working for Supreme Lending! AMEC Home Loans is very similar to Supreme Lending so that  makes this transfer much easier!! We still have the same programs – still have first time homebuyer programs!

Other updates – The Fed met this week and left rates unchanged which was expected. They are waiting to see how the economy reacts before adjusting rates too much.

There haven’t been too many changes to mortgage guidelines lately other than employment verifications. We need to get the initial paystubs and employment verification but right before closing – and sometimes the same day – we need to do a verbal verification to make sure you are still employed. We also need to make sure you are still working the same number of hours – if your hours have been cut due to covid-19, we need to qualify you at the current number of hours you are working. This will change but we do not know when.

If you have a mortgage approval that you did awhile ago, you may want to talk to your loan officer and make sure your numbers are still accurate!

Home prices are stable, interest rates are also stable – and low – it’s a great time to think about buying a new home!
