St. Paul Como Park… charming city lake neighborhood

como-map composite

If you love the Minneapolis city lakes but are looking for a quieter neighborhood with lower average prices don’t overlook St. Paul’s Como Park neighborhood. The area is best known for Como Park Zoo and Conservatory and the only completely free zoo and botanical garden in the country, but it also has beautiful Como Lake, golf course, miles of trails and a pavillion on the lake where you can both eat and enjoy live entertainment.

I have long known it was a great neighborhood with charming homes in the $250k-$350k range, but when we recently walked the trail around the lake we were delighted to also find some beautiful Victorian homes along the lake. Let us know if you would like to explore what is available in this charming neighborhood that niche.com gives an A+ rating.
