The wait is finally over… our new website/blog is here, with all 3,000+ existing blog posts moved over to one integrated site! A big thank you to Tim Brown of timbdesign.com for really listening to understand what we are about to come up with a unique design that conveys that we are not just another home search engine. We are a small team focused on listening and providing personalized service to help you in your real estate transition, whatever that may be.

That said, we are excited about our new home search. Note that you can expand the map to fit your whole screen for easy visibility. You can select only townhomes or condos under Property Types, and features like hardwood floors or lake front. I love that when you run your cursor over the green markers in the full map it not only gives you the city, but also total number of listings and average/median prices which can be a big help when selecting areas in which to search.

In addition to searching by city or school district, you can also search by radius around a location or you can draw your own search boundaries on the map… then save your search to be notified of new listings.

Of course we will continue to refine and improve the site, and some older blog posts will be outdated because the old site is gone. Future plans include expanding the neighborhoods section. In the meantime you can learn a lot about neighborhoods in the hundreds of neighborhood blog posts already on the site… note that you can select categories and also do your own search by entering whatever topic is of interest to you.
