How do you know if you are making the right decision?

Wondering if you are making the right decision? Buying or renting? Buying a house or a townhouse? Is this the right house? Should I relocate for a new job? Is it time to downsize? What am I going to do with all my stuff?

The list of questions can go on and on… but whatever your questions, you usually have the best answer yourself.

Trust your gut… it usually knows what your brain hasn’t figured out yet.

When our son was over last weekend he recalled making their first offer on a house. They were making an offer so evidently they thought they were making the right decision. But in his case even his brain knew it wasn’t right… when it came time to sign he couldn’t figure out how to sign his name!!! Needless to say, they walked away from that one and never looked back.

I remember buying our current townhouse. When we walked in I knew right away… everything was dreadful and it would need total updating… but it was three levels overlooking woods and a creek… a short walk to Byerly’s… it was perfect!!!  We gutted and renovated all three levels… and have loved living here for 18 years. Believe me, I see lots of beautiful homes… but have never wished we lived somewhere else.

Listen to your body… it will guide you to the right decision FOR YOU.
