"In every life we have some trouble. But when you worry, you make it double." – Bobby McFerrin, "Don’t Worry be Happy"
Buying and selling homes top the list of stresses in life. So comforting words can help.
Lyrics like Bob Dylan's lyrics "Let me forget about today until tomorrow" from Mister Tambourine Man. Many of us feel that way from time to time.
Lyrics can mean several things to different people at different times. Our lives often have a common theme. Then there is "Every little thing's gonna be alright!" – Bob Marley and the Wailers "Three Little Birds".
Too often I get wrapped up in the music and don't listen to the lyrics, often times each of us can misinterpret words or meanings. The choice of Bob Dylan as a poet for the Nobel prize this past fall made me want to reconsider the lyrics to some of my favorite songs.
As I checked it out, many of those songs had pretty inane word combinations, but looking further allowed me to see put new focus on life situations that happen to many of us.
Who hasn't been charmed by the words:
I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more,
Than I'll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful World" – Louis Armstrong, "What a Wonderful World"
Therefore, listen as you hear songs, hear the words and lyrics, songs can soothe, but also guide us in life.
What are your favorites songs? What do the words say to you?
Sometimes "All you need is love, love. Love is all your need." – The Beatles "All You Need is Love"
"You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one." – John Lennon "Imagine"
We are in this together! We love finding your dream home with you!
