Arts and crafts are alive and well in the Twin Cities and although the summer is when arts and crafts festivals are most evident, they also get a good run before the holidays. This weekend kicked off the November-December holiday art fair season with an abundance of events, including 60 Artists on 50th in Edina and Art Attack at the Northrup King Building.
Below is just a small sampling of some of the holiday arts and crafts events coming up in November-December this year… in addition to all the church and community holiday craft shows.
Minneapolis Craftza – Grain Belt Bottling House, Minneapolis

Craft'za is a free one-day art market for handmade goods. Artists are selected by jury to guarantee only the finest quality crafts for your holiday shopping. In addition to the art inside, Gastrotruck will be serving their signature handcrafted modern Midwestern cuisine throughout the event. Plenty of free public parking is located nearby.
2010 Artblock Annual Holiday Sale & Open Studios – Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association
Friday-Sunday, November 20-22, 2015
This event will take place in the studios of the historic General Mills Research Labs at 2010 East Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis. The open house will include work by 30+ artists in a broad range of media including painting, drawing, pottery, printmaking, metal sculpture, jewelry, textile arts, blown glass, glassbowing demos and a chocolate sale.
2015 Minneapolis Holidazzle – Loring Park, Minneapolis

A community gathering place, the 2015 Holidazzle will offer free family-friendly programming. Features include local food and beverage vendors, artisan booths, entertainment, and fireworks. There will be no admission fee, and while vendors will be present it will all be part of one destination known as Holidazzle.
Old Fashioned Holiday Bazaar – Landmark Center, St. Paul
Thursday-Saturday, December 3-5, 2015
75 booths of beautiful and unique handcrafted gift items by the area’s finest artists. The Bazaar will feature quality handcrafted items including, jewelry, wreaths, paintings, woven and wearable art, handmade lotions, soaps and more! Festive music and delicious treats will add to the enjoyment of holiday shopping. The Landmark Center Holiday Bazaar will offer shoppers a chance to win one or more of 75 items, donated by each of the exhibitors.
European Christmas Market – St. Paul Union Depot
December 4-6 and 11-13, 2015
The market is based on the traditional, charming, and festive open air Christkindlmarkts that spring up in Germany, Austria and other countries during the Advent season. Shop for unique, handmade holiday gifts and decorations from local vendors, drink Glühwein (spiced mulled wine), and taste European-inspired food and delicacies.
