Every summer REALTOR magazine, the official magazine of the National Association of Realtors, publishes its list of the top 100 real estate companies in the United States based on the previous year's sales activity.
With the falling prices we have seen in the last few years it isn't surprising that nationally average sales volume as measured in dollars fell last year. However, the number of transaction sides (the number of properties sold representing buyers or sellers) actually rose in 2009… meaning real estate agents have been working harder than ever.
