This weekend, August 21 and 22, 2010, is Minnesota REALTOR Statewide Open House Weekend.
Why now? Because for many people, now is really a good time to buy a home…
- Inventory is high
- Prices are down
- Mortgage rates are near 50-year lows
I was curious how many homes would be open on a hot end-of-summer weekend and did a search. I found over 500 open houses scheduled in Minneapolis and St. Paul alone… and between 2,000 and 3,000 in the 13-county metro area!
