Where is HomesMSP? Mexican restaurants this week. Today's restaurant is the oldest Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities, located in District del Sol on St. Paul's West Side. Do you know it?

Where is HomesMSP? This Crocus Hill Mexican restaurant started in the 1960's in a kitchen the size of a closet with at least 5 of their 7 children close by. What is it?

La Cucaracha… great Crocus Hill location on Dale between Grand and Summit Avenues

 

Where is HomesMSP? I couldn't visit Mexican restaurants without including this family favorite. When I featured it as a Sunday Site last year, I was amazed at how many people told me it was also their favorite! Can you guess what it is? Have you been there?

La Casita… long time family favorite, with locations in Columbia Heights and Roseville

 

Where is HomesMSP? Once called "the best Mexican restaurant in the Universe" by Jerry Seinfeld, this is truly a family restaurant, involving four generations working together. It is located at 48th & Chicago in south Minneapolis. Have you eaten there? Have your name on one of the plaques? What is it?
