Where is HomesMSP? Bridges this week. Today's bridge was one of the fanciest bridges over the Mississippi, originally built in 1887 at Broadway Avenue. When that bridge was reconstructed in 1987, one span was preserved and floated down river to be reused. Where is it now?Merriam Street Bridge… this section of one of the fanciest Mississippi River bridges was floated downstream to be reused when the 1887 bridge was replaced… now connects Nicollet Island and St. Anthony Main, Minneapolis
