HELLO GOODBYE

I have found that there is a song for nearly every occasion or event in our lives.  My inspiration this month comes from a Paul McCartney song, "Hello Goodbye ."   Selling a home, buying a home and moving are all emotional transition times.  Being able to say 'hello' and 'goodbye' are equally important.

Saying goodbye is sometimes much more difficult than saying hello, isn't it?  We have a hard time letting go of so many things - from grandma's old tablecloth or that shirt we bought on sale and have never worn – to old negative experiences, failures and hurts.  It's our human nature that wants to hold on to what we currently have because it's more comfortable.  Saying hello to new experiences and change can also be a scary thing, as it pushes us out of our comfort zone.

Whatever your transition is at this moment, you can begin to practice saying goodbye and hello:  Goodbye Old House / Hello New House; Goodbye Clutter / Hello Tranquility; Goodbye Old Friends / Hello New Friends;  Goodbye and good riddance to 2009 / Hello to 2010 and a new decade.  In order to say a heartfelt hello, we need to say an equally heartfelt goodbye!

So, Hello Goodbye!   "HELLO GOODBYE" – Listen here!
