What Does it Mean To Be a Certified Stager?

We are often asked what it means to be Certified.

In today’s market place, everyone knows how difficult it can be to sell a home.  As we have stated before, staging is a very important piece of preparing a home for sale.  There are many Stagers available, but you need to make sure your Stager understands the business…that’s the difference.

Staging is NOT just decorating!!

That is exactly why Cindy and I took the time to be Certified.  We took classes and were trained exactly how to make a home sell.  A Stager needs to make sure the house fits the demographic of the Client you want to attract.  That means doing research of the area and working closely with your Realtor.

We encourage the Home Owner to look at their Home as a product.  To quote an Article in the New York Times " A little style works, it just may not be your style!!"  We try to broaden the appeal of the home using the furnishings and skills of a Certified Stager to draw the eye to the home’s features.

Next week we’re hoping to add some pictures!!!
