'Legoland', as the LEGO Imagination Center at the Mall of America is affectionately called by thousands of visitors, re-opened last month after being closed for a few months for a complete make-over… just in time to provide a destination for few hours of free entertainment when the family gets stir crazy during winter's cold blasts!
It is a pleasure to see it refreshed and back, next to Nickelodeon Universe under the movie theatres at the Mall of America in Bloomington. The new models on display are amazing, and I love visual impact of the coloful new 'Pick a Brick' wall of LEGO elements available in bulk.
This was the first LEGO retail space in the United States, and it is new once again. It's a great place for LEGO aficionados of all ages to get inspired, build, hang out and shop. They even host birthday parties!
LEGO Imagination Center is located at 164 South Avenue in the Mall of America at 8100 24th Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55425. In the southeast corner of I-494/Hwy5 and Hwy 77/Cedar Avenue near the Minnesota River and Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, this location is close to homes in Bloomington, Richfield and Eagan, MN.
